Beautiful and amazing location just off the sea front, restaurants in the surrounding area and cafe, could not be better. Nearby Doca do Cavacas - great place to chill out. Great food in the restaurant, extensive and hot breakfast with fruit and omelettes.

Everything was superb, caring staff, ideal location not far from a cliff with stunning views of the coast including the 580m high cliff known as Cabo Girão, supermarket, and bars and restaurants. My twin room with which were topped up, massive bed, for instance was airy. Had an above average breakfast for all different tastes, appreciated the meal.

Top-class and beautifully decorated place with top quality rooms. Amazing location close to a bus station, easy to get around. Really nice restaurant at a moderate distance from the hotel. Outstanding and fantastic food for breakfast.

The staff is service-minded here, the services are very good, and location is absolutely perfect so close to the hill 100 m away, the 580 m high cliff known as Cabo Girão and several very good restaurants. The rooms are well-equipped, the bar is relaxing. I have to mention the varied breakfast with omelettes and pastries, for example.

My 4 nights in Funchal were good. The staff were helpful, breakfast was extensive and hot. The location was particularly good and stunning, close to a bus stop, if you need it. There was café Magic Tea House, that I found within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel. The à la carte restaurant was really nice and offered great meals.
